Claudio Bellini lives and works in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture and Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano. After collaborating on several nternational projects and competitions at Mario Bellini Architects, he founded his own studio in 1996.
In 1998 he anticipated the evolution of the contemporary workplace with the TW Collection, an innovative furniture system designed for Frezza. His in-depth research on these themes has enabled him, over the years, to develop significant collaborations with some of the most representative companies in the sector, including Steelcase, Kimball, OFS, Tecno and Vitra.
An innovator and trendsetter, thanks to his multidisciplinary creative approach, he has designed a wide range of projects for international clients such as Artemide, Bernhardt Design, Dedon, De Sede, iGuzzini, MDF Italia, Pedrali, Plank, Poltrona Frau, Restoration Hardware, Riva 1920, Thonet and Walter Knoll. Over the course of his long career he has received numerous prestigious awards and recognitions.
Art director for several brands in Italy and abroad, including Natuzzi, Fursys Group and Barazzoni, he has also served as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the University of Genoa. He regularly gives seminars, workshops and lectures around the world.
Since 2024, thanks to his cosmopolitan vision and multidisciplinary design research, he has further strengthened the international presence of his studio as a creative hub with the establishment of the Claudio Bellini Design Group.
