Our take on the classic spinning top, the Tracer Top is our first explicitly kinetic toy. Inspired by a single droplet colliding with a body of water, the Tracer’s design is an evocative rendering of an otherwise impermanent form. But it’s not just nice to look at — it was specifically engineered to defy the forces of friction and gravity for long, satisfying spins. Colored pips provide grip for heightened spin control in the hand, and generate a hypnotic visual effect while in motion.

    Spins Forever, Perfect Weight, Impossibly Cool

    Honestly, I have no idea how this thing spins for so long. You spin this top and it rips for like 3-4 minutes. It’s mesmerizing. For the first 60 seconds it automatically balances itself. Then, it stands perfectly straight up and down spinning so quickly that you think it might not be spinning anymore, but it is. It’s the ultimate desk toy, fidget spinner, stress relief, cool thing.
